Then, the air travels through the PermaLife™ Cleanable Filtration System where the smaller particles are collected. Then, the ionizer releases negative ions into the air that attract positively charged dust, smoke, and pollen particles. Finally, the clean purified air is released back into the room.  Through this system 99.5% of particles as small as .5 microns in size are cleaned from the air.
