Twenty-first century entryways require more than their older counterparts. They house packages, screen guests, receive four-course meals, welcome children home alone from school, and more. It stands to reason that entryways would be equipped with more advanced technology than ever before...but that doesn’t mean your entryway can’t look fabulous.

Kwikset and Baldwin are two of the top brands in entry hardware. Both are known for quality and elegance and both make great use of technological strides such as Z-Wave Technology, which is a wireless network that provides communication amongst devices in a home’s Wi-Fi network. Z-Wave Technology makes it possible to control all of your home’s Wi-Fi enabled electronics from your smartphone via your home’s smart hub. We are obsessed with their new releases and we’re sure you will be too!

Kwikset

Kwikset has always been known for its attractive entry hardware.

Kwikset has become synonymous with residential smart locks. As the only manufacturer of SmartKey Security™ technology, Kwikset is empowering homeowners as well as providing them with an extra layer of security.

But SmartKey Security™ is just the tip of the iceberg. Kwikset’s commitment to customer home safety has inspired an entire line of innovative locks including: keyless entry combination locks, connected home technology, first-to-market electronic lock, Kevo™, door hardware with Microban® antimicrobial product protection, and a wide variety of styles and finishes.

SmartKey® Technology

This feature allows the homeowner to quickly rekey a lock with 3 simple steps, and features stainless steel racks, pins, and side-locking bar for increased strength and security.

Homeowners can rekey locks themselves whenever they choose.

SecureScreen™ Technology

This feature works by highlighting 2 random numbers to press before entering the correct access code. Over time, fingerprints are on all the keys which defeats "smudge" attacks, where a user code is compromised through the detection of frequently used numbers from oily residues on the keypad.
