Seachrome’s edge-mounted portable tub seat is thoughtfully designed with portable and adjustable features to provide the necessary support when getting into or out of the tub. installing a bathtub seat provides security and allows elderly and physically disabled to remain independent in the privacy of their bathroom. The tub seat rests securely on top of the tub dam with adjustable dual clamps to accommodate different bathtub sizes. The tub clamp is lined with rubber grip pads to provide protection when contacting tub surfaces. The tub seat is crafted from #304 stainless steel frame and durable, water-resistant white phenolic seat top material, ideal for long-lasting use. Its wide seat surface supports up to 250 pounds and satisfies all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The tub seat includes swing-down legs that have a height adjustment of 16 to 17 inches and contains 1-1/2" adjustable leveling feet. It also features a quick release pin that locks the adjustable legs in place to provide secure support. Once the pin is released, the tub seat can easily be removed and stored away when not in use. This tub seat is not compatible with tubs that have interior curvature designs, it fits with most common bathtub dam sizes that have flat surfaces.
