Part of Mitsubishi's hyper-heating product line, the PVZ-HA42NHA is a single zone heat pump air handler system designed to bring high-efficiency zoned temperature control to large homes and businesses in frigid climates. A multi-positional air handler, PVA-A42AA7, is paired with an outdoor condenser that uses some of the most advanced technology available to modulate temperature without the energy-wasting overshoots and short-cycling associated with simpler systems. As a multi-positional unit, it is easy to install the indoor unit in nearly any setting. As part of Mitsubishi's commercial P-Series, the condenser is constructed with industrial-grade materials to ensure consistent performance in the harshest conditions, making this system ideal for critical applications that require constant conditioning in a sub-freezing environment.

• Precision Temperature Control Technology: The PUZ-HA42NHA outdoor condenser includes inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, output can be matched to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.

• H2i Technology: The PUZ-HA42NHA maintains heating operation with outdoor temperatures as low as -13° F. The PVZ-HA42NHA also features hot-start heat-pump technology to ensure that no cold air escapes during warm up.

• Dehumidification: When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
• Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad (Optional): An outdoor condenser pad provides an even surface on which to place your outdoor condenser
• Wall Bracket (Optional): A wall bracket provides a way to mount your outdoor condenser off the ground to keep it clear it of debris
