The PEZ-A42NHA is a packaged single zone heat pump mini split system designed to bring unobtrusive heating and cooling to any room in a large home or business while taking advantage of existing ductwork. A concealed duct indoor unit, PEAD-A42AA7, is paired with an outdoor condenser that uses some of the most advanced technology available to modulate temperature without the energy-wasting overshoots and short-cycling associated with simpler systems. With the PEAD-A42AA7, a small air register is the only evidence of that a powerful and efficient mini split is servicing your room. As part of Mitsubishi's commercial P-Series, the condenser is constructed with industrial-grade materials to ensure consistent performance in the harshest conditions, making this system ideal for critical applications that require constant conditioning.

Features:

• Precision Temperature Control Technology: The PUZ-A42NHA outdoor condenser includes inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, output can be matched to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.

• Hot-Start: Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.

• Dehumidification: When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.

• Condensate Removal System: The PEAD-A42AA contains an internal drain mechanism capable of lifting condensate 27-9/16". This simplifies installation and prevents condensate overflow, which can damage or destroy your property.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
• Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad (Optional): An outdoor condenser pad provides an even surface on which to place your outdoor condenser
• Wall Bracket (Optional): A wall bracket provides a way to mount your outdoor condenser off the ground to keep it clear it of debris
