The MLZ-KY06NA is a ceiling cassette indoor unit for use in multi-zone systems. The low-profile design is paired with quiet operations that provide comfort without disrupting your space. The only visible portion of the unit is its grille, which clocks in at a slender depth of 1-3/8". With multiple operating modes, multiple fan speeds, and the ability to fit between standard 16" joists, this unit can accommodate the needs of nearly any room. Whether you are designing a primary heating and cooling system or supplementing an existing one, the MLZ-KY06NA is an excellent addition.

Features:

• Hot-Start: Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.

• Dehumidification: When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.

• Vane Control: Optimal air flow can be achieved with the MLZ-KY06NA thanks to the vane control option. This function provides access to an auto mode and a swing mode.

• Condensate Removal System: The MLZ-KY06NA contains an internal drain mechanism capable of lifting condensate 19-11/16". This simplifies installation and prevents condensate overflow, which can damage or destroy your property.

• Serviceability: The MLZ-KY06NA is designed to fit between standard 16" joists and be serviced from below, making installation and maintenance easier than ever.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Branch Box: The branch box connects to the condenser and allows for multiple refrigerant lines to be connected to your indoor evaporators
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
• Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad (Optional): An outdoor condenser pad provides an even surface on which to place your outdoor condenser
• Wall Bracket (Optional): A wall bracket provides a way to mount your outdoor condenser off the ground to keep it clear it of debris
