Features:

• LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
• The LG ceiling cassette units use a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable filter is backed up by a plasma filtration system that can attract and capture microscopic irritants for pristine air quality.
• When the hot start function is enabled, the ceiling cassette's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
• LG cassette units feature designated cutouts for a branch duct, giving you the ability to duct up to 1/2 of the unit's airflow capacity to adjacent spaces.

Special Features:

• Integrated Base Pan Heater: Base pan heaters come factory installed on all LGRED° outdoor condensers in order to mitigate the risk of damage caused by freezing condensate.

• Inverter Technology: LG's inverter technology features an electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor that carefully regulates refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and providing consistent, accurate temperatures without overshooting or short-cycling.

• Gold Fin Protection: To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LMU420HHV's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.

• Quiet Design: Thanks to a brushless direct current motor and a twin rotary compressor, the LMU420HHV is significantly quieter than traditional air conditioning systems. These components reduce mechanical sound, electrical sound, and vibrations within the unit.

• Air Flow Options: The LG ceiling cassettes feature three air flow options. Swing mode fluctuates air flow direction. Chaos wind cycles direct and fan speed to provide more natural circulation. Finally Swirl mode produces steady comfort though out the zone.

• Self-Cleaning Coil: These wall mount units feature a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.

• Jet Cool: These LG mini split indoor units feature a Jet Cool operation mode for rapid cooling. In this mode, an indoor unit observes a set point of 64 degrees Fahrenheit while the fan operates at maximum speed for 30 minutes to quickly cool your zone.

• Automated Operation: Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.

• Sleep Mode: With the sleep mode and timer functions, you can set this indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the timer function automatically deactivates the unit.

• Condensate Protection: Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. An internal condensate pump with 27.5" of lift protects the ceiling cassette through reliable, effective condensate removal.

Required Components:

• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
