Aura has three ways to operate your Smart Lock - Through the Kwikset App, using a keypad entry code or with a traditional key.

Bluetooth Technology: Aura is a Bluetooth lock so you will need to be within Bluetooth range to control and manage the lock from your smartphone. Some features, such as sharing an existing access code, is available even if you’re not in Bluetooth range.

Easy In-App Management: Aura offers simplified, convenient access control and magement directly through the mobile app, when a paired smartphone is within Bluetooth range. The Kwikset mobile app is launching in tandem with the smart lock and will be available for free download via compatible smartphone app marketplaces, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
