LED Light Engine and Electrical Components

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the lighting fixture containing the LED light engine and electrical components is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, the warranty period is three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Indoor Lighting Fixtures with Energy Star® Label

Three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Outdoor Lighting Fixtures

One (1) year from the date of purchase.

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the lighting fixture containing the LED light engine and electrical components is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, the warranty period is three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Exterior Finishes

LifeBrite® Outdoor Lantern Exterior Finish: As long as the original consumer purchaser or commercial purchaser owns the lantern. This warranty does not cover damage caused by chemicals and harsh cleaners.
Climates® Outdoor Lantern Finish: Six (6) years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by chemicals and harsh cleaners.

Fans Lifetime Warranty

Kichler Lighting LLC (“Kichler Lighting”) warrants the following catalogued ceiling and wall fan products and component parts to the original consumer purchaser or commercial purchaser, as applicable, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the applicable period specified below.

Ceiling and Wall Fan Motor or Motor-Related Parts

For as long as the original consumer purchaser or commercial purchaser owns the ceiling or wall fan.

LED Light Engines and Electrical Components

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the ceiling or wall fan containing the LED light engine and electrical components is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, the warranty period is three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Other Parts

One (1) year from the date of purchase of the ceiling or wall fan. Covered parts include, but are not limited to, blades, light kits, down rods, switches, housing or finish.

Under Cabinet Lighting

LED Light Engine and Electrical Components of 8U Series LED Under Cabinet Lighting Products

Seven (7) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, five (5) years from the date of purchase.

LED Light Engine and Electrical Components of Design Pro LED Lighting Products and 6U Series LED Under Cabinet Lighting Products

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, three (3) years from the date of purchase.

LED Light Engine and Electrical Components of 4U Series LED Under Cabinet Products

Three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Xenon and Fluorescent Under Cabinet Products

Three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Kichler® LED Light Bulbs

Six (6) years or 30,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase of the under cabinet lighting product.

Tape Lighting

LED Light Engines and Electrical Components of 24 Volt Tape Lighting and Hard Strip Products

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, three (3) years from the date of purchase.
For 8T 24V tape lighting products, five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser and for commercial purchasers.
For 6D 24V puck lights, three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, one (1) year from the date of purchase.

LED Light Engines and Electrical Components of 12 Volt Tape Lighting Products

Three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, one (1) year from the date of purchase.
For 4DD and 6DD 12V tape lighting products, five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser and for commercial pruchasers.

24 and 12 Volt Electronic Power Supplies and Magnetic Transformers

Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Tape Light Accessories

One (1) year from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. This warranty includes but is not limited to connectors, track and channel accessories. This warranty does not extend to commercial purchasers.

Landscape and C-Series Lighting

Landscape Accessories with a Model Number Beginning with “15” or “16”

One (1) year from the date of purchase.

LED Light Engines and Electrical Components 12 Volt Design Pro LED Outdoor Products

Fifteen (15) years or 40,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase and when installed at a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, ten (10) years or 40,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase.

Low Voltage Landscape Lighting Products

Brass, Copper and Stainless-Steel Housing and Exterior Finishes: Fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase. For fixtures with the Centennial Brass (CBR) finish, the warranty period for the housing and exterior finish is ten (10) years. Brass and copper finishes naturally patina in color, which is not a defect under this warranty.
Aluminum Housing and Exterior Finishes: Five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Accent and Flood Lights

VLO Accent and Flood Lights: Fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase.
Gen 1.5 Integrated LED Accent Lights: Ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
120-277 Volt C-Series Accent and Flood Lights: Six (6) years from the date of purchase for the LED light engines and electrical components. Five (5) years from the date of purchase for the aluminum housings and finish.

120-277 Volt C-Series Ceiling and Wall Outdoor Lighting Products

Five (5) years from the date of purchase for the LED light engines and electrical components and aluminum housings and finish.

Showscape^TM Landscape Lighting Products with a Model Number Beginning with “28”

Seven (7) years from the date of purchase for the light fixture. Five (5) years from the date of purchase for the aluminum housing and finish.

Transformers

Standard/Economy Series (E): Five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Manual Series (M), Plus Series (PL), Inground (IGT) and Showscape: Ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
Contractor Series (CS) and Pro Series (PR): As long as the original consumer purchaser or commercial purchaser owns the transformer.
Integrated timers and photocell sensors: Five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Black (BK) and Bronze (AZ) polycarbonate finishes: Five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Factory painted exterior finish (AZT): Ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
Warranty coverage for the stainless steel exterior finish is the same duration as the warranty coverage for the transformer series, as described above.

Low Voltage Power Conditioner (LVPC)

When purchased as an accessory, for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Electronic Power Supplies

Ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Timers and photocells are not covered under this warranty.

HID Ballasts

Two (2) years from the date of purchase.

Kichler® LED Light Bulbs with a Model Number Beginning with “18”

Six (6) years or 30,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase.

Showscape LED Light Bulbs with a Model Number Beginning with “12”

Five (5) years or 25,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase.
