25:40 Love and Co with Designer Jessica Dolan

Creating gorgeous and livable spaces is what makes Jessica Dolan tick. She’s in her element when she’s creating, renovating, or styling a beautiful space. When she and her husband started 25:40 Love & Co, it was with an eye for beauty and the idea of bringing calm to the spaces they create.

Achieving a combination of transitional aesthetic, function, and comfort is the goal as Dolan seamlessly balances modern and timeless looks using neutrals, textures, and layers to give her designs a serene and curated feel.

While her signature style can’t be pinned to just one, “transitional” might be the best way to describe Dolan’s mixtures of traditional, moody, organic and the occasional California-vibe-meets-European-modern found in some of her favorite spaces.

From the time they started their firm in 2014, Tom and Jessica Dolan have brought together their passion for creating beautiful spaces and a conviction to help people in need. True to this founding principle, a portion of all proceeds from 25:40 Love & Co are donated to charity with the motto, “We can't change the world, but together we can change a life.”

The Project

After partnering with Build with Ferguson for her kids’ bathrooms, Dolan knew exactly where to go when it came to her primary bathroom remodel. From shopping online at Build with Ferguson and stopping by her local Ferguson showroom, Dolan was able to find everything she needed.

“Their options are endless, and I love having a local (and online) source I can always count on for myself and my clients,” said Dolan.

Dolan loves the Signature Hardware sinks, toilet, tub, and drain chosen for the space. In her opinion, there are two non-negotiables when choosing a toilet: it must be skirted, and it must be one-piece because these features make it so much easier to clean. Luckily, Build with Ferguson’s Signature Hardware Key West one-piece, skirted, elongated toilet was a perfect fit! Dolan commented: “Is it weird to say, ‘I love this toilet!’? Maybe. Are toilets important? Definitely. Bonus points: it’s WaterSense certified, so it conserves water without sacrificing performance!”

The Signature Hardware sinks complement perfectly the faucet and countertops Dolan chose. The 6-inch bowl depth offers generous water capacity, while the undermount design creates simple, smooth lines. “I’m especially fond of the lovely slope of these sinks,” says Dolan.

The Process

The Dolan’s primary bath has come a long way from the “1990s spa experience” it was when they moved in.
