The wrought brass ball catch 3/4 ' x 1 1/2" x 1" body 25/32" x 1 1/2" strike is a latching mechanism consisting of a spring and bearing, with an opposing receiving strike plate. Doors installed with ball catches can simply be pushed open or closed.
