The Hager 3840 sectional mortise privacy lever set features a latchbolt that is retracted by the lever from either side unless the outside is locked by the inside thumbturn. Turning the inside lever or closing door will unlock the outside lever. To unlock from the outside, remove the emergency button, insert the furnished emergency turn in the access hole and rotate.

With field reversible handing, ease of installation, and both escutcheon and sectional models available, the 3800 Series lock provides great flexibility.
